You, even You, are to be feared;And whomay standin Your presencewhenonceYou are angry?
Mosessaidto the people,"Do not be afraid;for Godhas comein orderto testyou, and in orderthat the fearof Him may remainwith you, so that you may not sin."
But whenhe seeshis children,the workof My hands,in his midst,They will sanctifyMy name;Indeed, they will sanctifythe HolyOneof JacobAnd will standin aweof the Godof Israel.
But the LORDof hostswill be exaltedin judgment,And the holyGodwill showHimself holyin righteousness.
and you will comeup againstMy peopleIsraellike a cloudto coverthe land.It shall comeabout in the lastdaysthat I will bringyou againstMy land,sothat the nationsmay knowMe when I am sanctifiedthrough you before their eyes,O Gog."
Then Mosessaidto Aaron,"It is whatthe LORDspoke,saying,By those who comenearMe I will be treatedas holy,And beforeallthe peopleI will be honored.'"So Aaron,therefore, keptsilent.
"You shall not profaneMy holyname,but I will be sanctifiedamongthe sonsof Israel;I am the LORDwho sanctifiesyou,
"My covenantwith him was [one of] lifeand peace,and I gavethem to him [as an object of] reverence;so he reveredMe and stoodin aweof My name.
for in the wildernessof Zin,during the strifeof the congregation,you rebelledagainstMy commandto treatMe as holybeforetheir eyesat the water."(Theseare the watersof Meribahof Kadeshin the wildernessof Zin.)
"Do not fearthosewho killthe bodybut are unableto killthe soul;but ratherfearHim who is ableto destroybothsouland bodyin hell.
"But I will warnyou whomto fear:fearthe One who, afterHe has killed,hasauthorityto castinto hell;yes,I tellyou, fearHim!
yet,with respectto the promiseof God,he did not waverin unbeliefbut grew strongin faith,givinggloryto God,
"You shall eatin the presenceof the LORDyour God,at the placewhereHe choosesto establishHis name,the titheof your grain,your newwine,your oil,and the firstbornof your herdand your flock,sothat you may learnto fearthe LORDyour Godalways.
"Whowill not fear,O Lord,and glorifyYour name?For You aloneare holy;For ALLTHE NATIONSWILL COMEAND WORSHIPBEFOREYOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTSHAVE BEEN REVEALED."
He tooka yokeof oxenand cutthem in pieces,and sent[them] throughoutthe territoryof Israelby the handof messengers,saying,"Whoeverdoes not comeout afterSauland afterSamuel,soshall it be doneto his oxen."Then the dreadof the LORDfellon the people,and they cameout as oneman.
