The angelof the LORDsaidto her further, "Behold,you are with child,And you will beara son;And you shall callhis nameIshmael,Becausethe LORDhas givenheedto your affliction.
"This[will be] a signfor you: you will finda babywrapped in clothsand lyingin a manger."
"Thisshall be the signto you from the LORD,that the LORDwill dothisthingthat He has spoken:
"In His daysJudahwill be saved,And Israelwill dwellsecurely;And thisis His nameby whichHe will be called,The LORDour righteousness.'
Thiswill be the signto you,' declaresthe LORD,'that I am going to punishyou in thisplace,sothat you may knowthat My wordswill surelystandagainstyou for harm.'
