"Liftup your eyesand lookaround;Allof them gathertogether, they cometo you. As I live,"declaresthe LORD,"You will surelyputon allof them as jewelsand bindthem on as a bride.
The LORDsaidto Abram,afterLothad separatedfrom him, "Nowliftup your eyesand lookfrom the placewhereyou are, northwardand southwardand eastwardand westward;
and said,"By Myself I have sworn,declaresthe LORD,becauseyou have donethisthingand have not withheldyour son,your onlyson,
Grandchildrenare the crownof oldmen,And the gloryof sonsis their fathers.
"I have swornby Myself, The wordhas goneforthfrom My mouthin righteousnessAnd will not turnback,That to Me everykneewill bow,everytonguewill swear[allegiance].
"Behold,thesewill comefrom afar;And lo,these[will come] from the northand from the west,And thesefrom the landof Sinim."
Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,I will liftup My handto the nationsAnd setup My standardto the peoples;And they will bringyour sonsin [their] bosom,And your daughterswill be carriedon [their] shoulders.
Awake,awake,Clotheyourselfin your strength,O Zion;Clotheyourselfin your beautifulgarments,O Jerusalem,the holycity;For the uncircumcisedand the uncleanWill nolongercomeinto you.
"For a briefmomentI forsookyou, But with greatcompassionI will gatheryou.
"For thisis like the daysof Noahto Me, WhenI sworethat the watersof NoahWould not floodthe earthagain;SoI have swornthat I will not be angrywith you Norwill I rebukeyou.
I will rejoicegreatlyin the LORD,My soulwill exultin my God;For He has clothedme with garmentsof salvation,He has wrappedme with a robeof righteousness,As a bridegroomdeckshimself with a garland,And as a brideadornsherself with her jewels.
"Then they shall bringallyour brethrenfrom allthe nationsas a grain offeringto the LORD,on horses,in chariots,in litters,on mulesand on camels,to My holymountainJerusalem,"saysthe LORD,"justas the sonsof Israelbringtheir grain offeringin a cleanvesselto the houseof the LORD.
"Can a virginforgether ornaments,Or a brideher attire?Yet My peoplehave forgottenMe Dayswithoutnumber.
"Behold,I am bringingthem from the northcountry,And I will gatherthem from the remotepartsof the earth,Among them the blindand the lame,The womanwith childand she who is in laborwith child, together;A greatcompany,they will returnhere.
"And I shall setfireto the templesof the godsof Egypt,and he will burnthem and takethem captive.So he will wraphimselfwith the landof Egyptas a shepherdwrapshimselfwith his garment,and he will departfrom theresafely.
"Sayto them, 'As I live!'declaresthe LordGOD,'I takenopleasurein the deathof the wicked,but ratherthat the wickedturnfrom his wayand live.Turnback,turnbackfrom your evilways!Whythen will you die,O houseof Israel?'
but indeed,as I live,allthe earthwill be filledwith the gloryof the LORD.
"Do you not say,'There are yetfour months,and [then] comesthe harvest?Behold,I sayto you, liftup your eyesand lookon the fields,that they are whitefor harvest.
And I sawthe holycity,newJerusalem,coming downout of heavenfrom God,made readyas a brideadornedfor her husband.
Outsideare the dogsand the sorcerersand the immoral personsand the murderersand the idolaters,and everyonewho lovesand practiceslying.
