"Nowtherefore, comemakea bargainwith my masterthe kingof Assyria,and I will giveyou two thousandhorses,ifyou are ableon your part to setriderson them.
Then the LORDsaidto Isaiah,"Goout nowto meetAhaz,you and your sonShear-jashub,at the endof the conduitof the upperpool,on the highwayto the fuller'sfield,
when the armyof the kingof Babylonwas fightingagainstJerusalemand againstallthe remainingcitiesof Judah,[that is], Lachishand Azekah,for they [alone] remainedas fortifiedcitiesamong the citiesof Judah.
Harnessthe chariotto the team of horses,O inhabitantof Lachish--She was the beginningof sinTo the daughterof Zion--Becausein you were foundThe rebelliousactsof Israel.
For her woundis incurable,For it has cometo Judah;It has reachedthe gateof my people,[Even] to Jerusalem.
