Then my peoplewill livein a peacefulhabitation,And in securedwellingsand in undisturbedrestingplaces;
He ledthem also by a straightway,To goto an inhabitedcity.
Onlyin the landof Goshen,wherethe sonsof Israel[were], there was nohail.
Do not liein wait,O wickedman,against the dwellingof the righteous;Do not destroyhis restingplace;
Then in that dayThe nationswill resortto the rootof Jesse,Whowill standas a signalfor the peoples;And His restingplacewill be glorious.
And it will be in the daywhen the LORDgivesyou restfrom your painand turmoiland harshservicein whichyou have been enslaved,
And He will judgebetweenthe nations,And will renderdecisionsfor manypeoples;And they will hammertheir swordsinto plowsharesand their spearsinto pruninghooks.Nationwill not liftup swordagainstnation,And neveragainwill they learnwar.

"The steadfastof mindYou will keepin perfectpeace,Becausehe trustsin You.
He whosaidto them, "Hereis rest,giverestto the weary,"And, "Hereis repose,"but they wouldnot listen.
For thusthe LordGOD,the HolyOneof Israel,has said,"In repentanceand restyou will be saved,In quietnessand trustis your strength."But you were not willing,
And He will be the stabilityof your times,A wealthof salvation,wisdomand knowledge;The fearof the LORDis his treasure.
"They will buildhousesand inhabit[them]; They will also plantvineyardsand eattheir fruit.

In thosedaysJudahwill be savedand Jerusalemwill dwellin safety;and thisis [the name] by whichshe will be called:the LORDis our righteousness.'
"They will nolongerbe a preyto the nations,and the beastsof the earthwill not devourthem; but they will livesecurely,and noonewill make[them] afraid.

For thussaysthe LORDof hosts,"AftergloryHe has sentme againstthe nationswhich plunderyou, for he who touchesyou, touchesthe appleof His eye.
In that day,'declaresthe LORDof hosts,'everyoneof you will invitehis neighborto [sit] under[his] vineand under[his] figtree.'"
Sothere remainsa Sabbath restfor the peopleof God.
We have come to knowand have believedthe lovewhichGodhasfor us. Godis love,and the one who abidesin loveabidesin God,and Godabidesin him.
