"I hateyour newmoon[festivals] and your appointedfeasts,They have becomea burdento Me; I am wearyof bearing[them].
and to offerallburntofferingsto the LORD,on the sabbaths,the newmoonsand the fixedfestivalsin the number[set] by the ordinanceconcerningthem, continuallybeforethe LORD.
Woe,O Ariel,Arielthe city[where] David[once] camped!Addyearto year,observe[your] feastson schedule.
I will bringdistressto Ariel,And she will be [a city of] lamentingand mourning;And she will be like an Arielto me.
"You have boughtMe not sweetcanewith money,Norhave you filledMe with the fatof your sacrifices;Ratheryou have burdenedMe with your sins,You have weariedMe with your iniquities.
For I, the LORD,lovejustice,I haterobberyin the burntoffering;And I will faithfullygivethem their recompenseAnd makean everlastingcovenantwith them.
"And it shall be from newmoonto newmoonAnd from sabbathto sabbath,Allmankindwill cometo bowdownbeforeMe," saysthe LORD.
Then he said,"Listennow,O houseof David!Is it tooslighta thingfor you to trythe patienceof men,that you will trythe patienceof my Godas well?
"I will also putan endto allher gaiety,Her feasts,her newmoons,her sabbathsAnd allher festalassemblies.
They have dealttreacherouslyagainst the LORD,For they have borneillegitimatechildren.Nowthe newmoonwill devourthem with their land.
"Behold,I am weighteddownbeneathyou As a wagonis weighteddownwhen filledwith sheaves.
"I hate,I rejectyour festivals,Nordo I delightin your solemnassemblies.
Then I annihilatedthe threeshepherdsin onemonth,for my soulwas impatientwith them, and their soulalsowas wearyof me.
You have weariedthe LORDwith your words.Yet you say,"Howhave we wearied[Him]?" In that you say,"Everyonewho doesevilis goodin the sightof the LORD,and He delightsin them," or,"Whereis the Godof justice?"
