Thus you are to be holyto Me, for I the LORDam holy;and I have setyou apartfrom the peoplesto be Mine.
"They will be Mine," saysthe LORDof hosts,"on the daythat I prepare[My] own possession,and I will sparethem as a manspareshis own sonwho serveshim."

He predestinedus to adoption as sonsthroughJesusChristto Himself,accordingto the kind intentionof His will,
By faithJacob,as he was dying,blessedeachof the sonsof Joseph,and worshiped,[leaning] on the topof his staff.
"Nowtherefore, apportionthislandfor an inheritanceto the ninetribesand the half-tribeof Manasseh."
For the sonsof Josephwere twotribes,Manassehand Ephraim,and they did not givea portionto the Levitesin the land,exceptcitiesto livein, with their pasturelandsfor their livestockand for their property.
