Then he askedthem about their welfare,and said,"Is your oldfatherwell,of whomyou spoke?Is he stillalive?"
Then he saidto him, "Gonowand seeabout the welfareof your brothersand the welfareof the flock,and bringwordbackto me." So he senthim from the valleyof Hebron,and he cameto Shechem.
Josephthen answeredPharaoh,saying,"It is not in me; Godwill givePharaoha favorableanswer."
"We are allsonsof oneman;we are honestmen,your servantsare not spies."
But they said,"Your servantsare twelvebrothers[in all], the sonsof onemanin the landof Canaan;and behold,the youngestis with our fathertoday,and oneis nolongeralive."
But they said,"The manquestionedparticularlyabout us and our relatives,saying,Is your fatherstillalive?Haveyou [another] brother?'So we answeredhis questions.Could we possiblyknowthat he would say,'Bringyour brotherdown'?"
Then Josephsaidto his brothers,"I am Joseph!Is my fatherstillalive?"But his brotherscouldnot answerhim, for they were dismayedat his presence.
"Pleaserunnowto meether and sayto her, 'Is it wellwith you? Is it wellwith your husband?Is it wellwith the child?'"And she answered,"It is well."
he sentHadoramhis sonto KingDavidto greethim and to blesshim, becausehe had foughtagainst Hadadezerand had defeatedhim; for Hadadezerhadbeenat warwith Tou.And [Hadoram brought] allkinds of articlesof goldand silverand bronze.
Then Moseswentout to meethis father-in-law,and he boweddownand kissedhim; and they askedeachotherof their welfareand wentinto the tent.
They turnedasidethereand cameto the houseof the youngman,the Levite,to the houseof Micah,and askedhim of his welfare.
Then Davidlefthis baggagein the careof the baggagekeeper,and ranto the battlelineand enteredin order to greethis brothers.
So Davidsenttenyoungmen;and Davidsaidto the youngmen,"Goup to Carmel,visitNabaland greethim in my name;
