So it cameabout whenthey had finishedeatingthe grainwhichthey had broughtfrom Egypt,that their fathersaidto them, "Goback,buyus a littlefood."
"Ifyou sendour brotherwith us, we will godownand buyyou food.
Judahsaidto his fatherIsrael,"Sendthe ladwith me and we will ariseand go,that we may liveand not die,we as wellas you and our littleones.
"Hurryand goup to my father,and sayto him, 'Thussaysyour sonJoseph,"Godhas mademe lordof allEgypt;comedownto me, do not delay.
I will not die,but live,And tellof the worksof the LORD.
Behold,the eyeof the LORDis on those who fearHim, On those who hopefor His lovingkindness,
To delivertheir soulfrom deathAnd to keepthem alivein famine.
In thosedaysHezekiahbecamemortallyill.And Isaiahthe prophetthe sonof Amozcameto him and saidto him, "Thussaysthe LORD,Setyour housein order,for you shall dieand not live.'"
But He answeredand said,"It is written,MANSHALL NOT LIVEON BREADALONE,BUT ON EVERYWORDTHAT PROCEEDSOUT OF THE MOUTHOF GOD.'"
