Now Jacobheardthat he had defiledDinahhis daughter;but his sonswere with his livestockin the field,so Jacobkeptsilentuntilthey camein.
So he removedon that daythe stripedand spottedmalegoatsand allthe speckledand spottedfemalegoats,everyonewith whitein it, and allthe blackonesamong the sheep,and gavethem into the careof his sons.
So Shechemspoketo his fatherHamor,saying,"Getme thisyounggirlfor a wife."
Then Hamorthe fatherof Shechemwentout to Jacobto speakwith him.
you shall say,'Your servantshave beenkeepersof livestockfrom our youtheven untilnow,bothwe and our fathers,'that you may livein the landof Goshen;for everyshepherdis loathsometo the Egyptians."
But Absalomdid not speakto Amnoneithergoodorbad;for AbsalomhatedAmnonbecausehe had violatedhis sisterTamar.
"I have becomemute,I do not openmy mouth,Becauseit is You who have done[it].

And Samuelsaidto Jesse,"Are these allthe children?"And he said,"There remainsyetthe youngest,and behold,he is tendingthe sheep."Then Samuelsaidto Jesse,"Sendand bringhim; for we will not sitdown untilhe comeshere."
