Godblessedthem; and Godsaidto them, "Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe earth,and subdueit; and ruleover the fishof the seaand over the birdsof the skyand over everylivingthingthat moveson the earth."
"I will makeyour descendantsas the dustof the earth,sothat ifanyonecannumberthe dustof the earth,then your descendantscan alsobe numbered.
"As for Ishmael,I have heardyou; behold,I will blesshim, and will makehim fruitfuland will multiplyhim exceedingly.He shall becomethe fatherof twelveprinces,and I will makehim a greatnation.

The LORDappearedto him the samenightand said,"I am the Godof your fatherAbraham;Do not fear,for I am with you. I will blessyou, and multiplyyour descendants,For the sakeof My servantAbraham."
"I will multiplyyour descendantsas the starsof heaven,and will giveyour descendantsalltheselands;and by your descendantsallthe nationsof the earthshall be blessed;
Then Isaactrembledviolently,and said,"Whowas he thenthat huntedgameand brought[it] to me, so that I ateof all[of it] beforeyou came,and blessedhim? Yes,and he shall be blessed."
Godalso saidto him, "I am GodAlmighty;Be fruitfuland multiply;A nationand a companyof nationsshall comefrom you, And kingsshall comeforthfrom you.
He namedthe secondEphraim,"For," [he said], "Godhas mademe fruitfulin the landof my affliction."
and may GodAlmightygrantyou compassionin the sightof the man,so that he will releaseto you your otherbrotherand Benjamin.And as for me, ifI am bereavedof my children,I am bereaved."
Then Jacobsaidto Joseph,"GodAlmightyappearedto me at Luzin the landof Canaanand blessedme,
and He saidto me, 'Behold,I will makeyou fruitfuland numerous,and I will makeyou a companyof peoples,and will givethislandto your descendantsafteryou for an everlastingpossession.'
From the Godof your fatherwho helpsyou, And by the Almightywho blessesyou [With] blessingsof heavenabove,Blessingsof the deepthat liesbeneath,Blessingsof the breastsand of the womb.
And GodblessedNoahand his sonsand saidto them, "Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe earth.
Unlessthe LORDbuildsthe house,They laborin vainwho buildit; Unlessthe LORDguardsthe city,The watchmankeepsawakein vain.
Behold,childrenare a giftof the LORD,The fruitof the wombis a reward.
But the sonsof Israelwere fruitfuland increasedgreatly,and multiplied,and becameexceedinglymighty,so that the landwas filledwith them.
