Yet he urgedthem strongly,so they turnedasideto him and enteredhis house;and he prepareda feastfor them, and bakedunleavenedbread,and they ate.
And he said,"Nowbehold,my lords,pleaseturnasideinto your servant'shouse,and spendthe night,and washyour feet;then you may riseearlyand goon your way."They saidhowever, "No,but we shall spendthe nightin the square."
The childgrewand was weaned,and Abrahammadea greatfeaston the daythat Isaacwas weaned.
And he said,"Comein, blessedof the LORD!Whydo you standoutsidesince I have preparedthe house,and a placefor the camels?"
Then he madethem a feast,and they ateand drank.
Now there camea daywhen Elishapassedoverto Shunem,wherethere was a prominentwoman,and she persuadedhim to eatfood.And so it was, as oftenas he passedby, he turnedin thereto eatfood.
Sevendaysyou shall eatunleavenedbread,but on the firstdayyou shall removeleavenfrom your houses;for whoevereatsanything leavenedfrom the firstdayuntilthe seventhday,that personshall be cutofffrom Israel.
They bakedthe doughwhichthey had broughtout of Egyptinto cakesof unleavenedbread.For it had not becomeleavened,sincethey were drivenout of Egyptand couldnot delay,norhad they preparedanyprovisionsfor themselves.
"I tellyou, eventhoughhe will not getup and givehim [anything] becausehe is his friend,yetbecauseof his persistencehe will getup and givehim as muchas he needs.
"And the mastersaidto the slave,'Goout into the highwaysand along the hedges,and compel[them] to comein, sothat my housemay be filled.
And Levigavea bigreceptionfor Him in his house;and there was a greatcrowdof tax collectorsand other[people] whowere reclining[at the table] with them.
Sothey madeHim a supperthere,and Marthawas serving;but Lazaruswas oneof thosereclining[at the] [table] with Him.
Thereforelet us celebrate the feast,not with oldleaven,norwith the leavenof maliceand wickedness,but with the unleavenedbread of sincerityand truth.
For the loveof Christcontrolsus, having concludedthis,that onediedfor all,thereforealldied;
Do not neglectto show hospitality to strangers,for by thissomehave entertainedangelswithout knowingit.
Then Gideonwentin and prepareda younggoatand unleavenedbreadfrom an ephahof flour;he putthe meatin a basketand the brothin a pot,and brought[them] out to him underthe oakand presented[them].
The womanhad a fattenedcalfin the house,and she quicklyslaughteredit; and she tookflour,kneadedit and bakedunleavenedbreadfrom it.
