The LORDsaidto him, "Gothrough the midstof the city,[even] through the midstof Jerusalem,and puta markon the foreheadsof the menwho sighand groanoverallthe abominationswhich are being committedin its midst."

For justas the sufferingsof Christare oursin abundance,soalsoour comfortis abundantthroughChrist.
alwayscarrying aboutin the bodythe dyingof Jesus,sothat the lifeof Jesusalsomay be manifestedin our body.
whichis [really] not another;onlythere are somewho are disturbingyou and wantto distortthe gospelof Christ.
that I may knowHim and the powerof His resurrectionand the fellowshipof His sufferings,being conformedto His death;
NowI rejoicein my sufferingsfor your sake,and in my fleshI do my shareon behalfof His body,whichis the church,in fillingup whatis lackingin Christ'safflictions.
Seeto it that noonecomes shortof the graceof God;that norootof bitternessspringingup causes trouble,and by it manybe defiled;
Joshuasaid,"Whyhave you troubledus? The LORDwill troubleyou thisday."And allIsraelstonedthem with stones;and they burnedthem with fireafter they had stonedthem with stones.
And he causesall,the smalland the great,and the richand the poor,and the free menand the slaves,to be givena markon their righthandoron their forehead,
and [he provides] that noonewill be ableto buyorto sell,exceptthe one who hasthe mark,[either] the nameof the beastorthe numberof his name.
