"Those who are sicklyyou have not strengthened,the diseasedyou have not healed,the brokenyou have not boundup, the scatteredyou have not broughtback,norhave you soughtfor the lost;but with forceand with severityyou have dominatedthem.
Wherewill you be strickenagain,[As] you continuein [your] rebellion?The wholeheadis sickAnd the wholeheartis faint.
He will proteston that day,saying,"I will not be [your] healer,For in my housethereis neitherbreadnorcloak;You should not appointme rulerof the people."
His watchmenare blind,Allof them knownothing.Allof them are mutedogsunableto bark,Dreamerslyingdown,who loveto slumber;
"Woeto him who buildshis housewithoutrighteousnessAnd his upperroomswithoutjustice,Who useshis neighbor'sserviceswithoutpayAnd does not givehim his wages,
Is therenobalmin Gilead?Is therenophysicianthere?Whythenhas not the healthof the daughterof my peoplebeen restored?
And he walkedabout amongthe lions;He becamea younglion,He learnedto tear[his] prey;He devouredmen.
He destroyedtheir fortifiedtowersAnd laidwastetheir cities;And the landand its fullnesswere appalledBecauseof the soundof his roaring.
They puthim in a cagewith hooksAnd broughthim to the kingof Babylon;They broughthim in huntingnetsSothat his voicewould be heardnomoreOn the mountainsof Israel.
"I will seekthe lost,bringbackthe scattered,bindup the brokenand strengthenthe sick;but the fatand the strongI will destroy.I will feedthem with judgment.
You shall not ruleover him with severity,but are to revereyour God.
but rathergoto the lostsheepof the houseof Israel.
"The vine-growerstookhis slavesand beatone,and killedanother,and stoneda third.
and beginsto beathis fellow slavesand eatand drinkwith drunkards;
Seeingthe people,He felt compassionfor them, becausethey were distressedand dispiritedlikesheepwithouta shepherd.
Not that we lord it overyour faith,but are workerswith you for your joy;for in your faithyou are standing firm.
Therefore,strengthenthe handsthat are weakand the kneesthat are feeble,
