Then I looked,and behold,in the expansethat was overthe headsof the cherubimsomething like a sapphirestone,in appearanceresemblinga throne,appearedabovethem.
The LORDsaid,"Shall I hidefrom AbrahamwhatI am about to do,
When he liftedup his eyesand looked,behold,threemenwere standingoppositehim; and when he saw[them], he ranfrom the tentdoorto meetthem and bowedhimself to the earth,
Then the menturnedawayfrom thereand wenttoward Sodom,while Abrahamwas stillstandingbeforethe LORD.
And he said,"Nowbehold,I have venturedto speakto the Lord;supposetwentyare foundthere?"And He said,"I will not destroy[it] on accountof the twenty."
So He drovethe manout; and at the eastof the gardenof EdenHe stationedthe cherubimand the flamingswordwhich turnedevery direction to guardthe wayto the treeof life.
Then Jacobwas leftalone,and a manwrestledwith him untildaybreak.
So Jacobnamedthe placePeniel,for [he said], "I have seenGodfaceto face,yet my lifehas been preserved."
He rodeupon a cheruband flew;And He spedupon the wingsof the wind.
and they sawthe Godof Israel;and underHis feetthere appeared to be a pavementof sapphire,as clearas the skyitself.
Aftermanydaysthe LORDsaidto me, "Arise,goto the Euphratesand takefrom therethe waistbandwhichI commandedyou to hidethere."
Then the wordof the LORDcameto me, saying,
Now it cameabout in the thirtiethyear,on the fifth[day] of the fourthmonth,while I was by the riverChebaramongthe exiles,the heavenswere openedand I sawvisionsof God.
Theseare the livingbeingsthat I sawbeneaththe Godof Israelby the riverChebar;so I knewthat they [were] cherubim.
Then the cherubimliftedup their wingswith the wheelsbesidethem, and the gloryof the Godof Israelhoveredoverthem.
Then behold,the manclothedin linenat whoseloinswas the writingcasereported,saying,"I have donejustas You have commandedme."
I will standon my guardpostAnd stationmyself on the rampart;And I will keepwatchto seewhatHe will speakto me, And howI may replywhenI am reproved.
No onehas seenGodat any time;the only begottenGodwho is in the bosomof the Father,He has explained[Him].
whichHe brought aboutin Christ,when He raisedHim from the deadand seatedHim at His right handin the heavenly[places],
The LORDsaidto Joshua,"See,I have givenJerichointo your hand,with its king[and] the valiantwarriors.
whois at the right handof God,having goneinto heaven,after angelsand authoritiesand powershad been subjectedto Him.
and in the middleof the lampstands[I saw] one likea sonof man,clothedin a robe reaching to the feet,and girdedacrossHis chestwith a goldensash.
