Then Jacobtookfreshrodsof poplarand almondand planetrees,and peeledwhitestripesin them, exposingthe whitewhich[was] in the rods.
Elishasaidto her, "Whatshall I dofor you? Tellme, whatdo you havein the house?"And she said,"Your maidservanthasnothingin the houseexcepta jarof oil."
The LORDwill stretchforthYour strongscepterfrom Zion,[saying], "Rulein the midstof Your enemies."
"You shall takein your handthisstaff,with whichyou shall performthe signs."
So Mosestookhis wifeand his sonsand mountedthem on a donkey,and returnedto the landof Egypt.Mosesalso tookthe staffof Godin his hand.
"Goto Pharaohin the morningas he is goingout to the water,and stationyourselfto meethim on the bankof the Nile;and you shall takein your handthe staffthat was turnedinto a serpent.
"WhenPharaohspeaksto you, saying,Worka miracle,'then you shall sayto Aaron,Takeyour staffand throw[it] downbeforePharaoh,[that] it may becomea serpent.'"
But with righteousnessHe will judgethe poor,And decidewith fairnessfor the afflictedof the earth;And He will strikethe earthwith the rodof His mouth,And with the breathof His lipsHe will slaythe wicked.
For everytenthpartof herdor flock,whateverpassesunderthe rod,the tenthone shall be holyto the LORD.
