Everyonewhoseheartstirredhim and everyonewhosespiritmovedhim came[and] broughtthe LORD'Scontributionfor the workof the tentof meetingand for allits serviceand for the holygarments.
"For You, O LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,have madea revelationto Your servant,saying,I will buildyou a house;thereforeYour servanthas foundcourageto praythisprayerto You.
Then KingDavidroseto his feetand said,"Listento me, my brethrenand my people;I [had] intendedto builda permanenthomefor the arkof the covenantof the LORDand for the footstoolof our God.So I had madepreparationsto build[it].
"As for you, my sonSolomon,knowthe Godof your father,and serveHim with a wholeheartand a willingmind;for the LORDsearchesallhearts,and understandseveryintentof the thoughts.Ifyou seekHim, He will let you findHim; but ifyou forsakeHim, He will rejectyou forever.
"But whoam I and whoare my peoplethat we should be ableto offeras generously as this?For allthingscome from You, and from Your handwe have givenYou.
"Moreover,in my delightin the houseof my God,the treasureI haveof goldand silver,I giveto the houseof my God,overand aboveallthat I have already providedfor the holytemple,
Whoever possessed[precious] stonesgavethem to the treasuryof the houseof the LORD,in careof Jehielthe Gershonite.
Then the peoplerejoicedbecausethey had offeredso willingly,for they madetheir offeringto the LORDwith a wholeheart,and KingDavidalsorejoicedgreatly.
Someof the headsof fathers'[households], when they arrivedat the houseof the LORDwhichis in Jerusalem,offeredwillinglyfor the houseof Godto restoreit on its foundation.
Blessedbe the LORD,the Godof our fathers,whohas put[such a thing] as thisin the king'sheart,to adornthe houseof the LORDwhichis in Jerusalem,
Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
"Tellthe sonsof Israelto raisea contributionfor Me; from everymanwhoseheartmoveshim you shall raiseMy contribution.
Then allthe congregationof the sonsof Israeldepartedfrom Moses'presence.
Then allwhose heartsmovedthem, both menand women,came[and] broughtbroochesand earringsand signetringsand bracelets,allarticlesof gold;so [did] everymanwhopresentedan offeringof goldto the LORD.
Allthe womenwhoseheartstirredwith a skillspunthe goats'[hair].
The Israelites,allthe menand women,whoseheartmovedthem to bring[material] for allthe work,whichthe LORDhad commandedthroughMosesto be done,broughta freewillofferingto the LORD.
Takefrom among you a contributionto the LORD;whoeveris of a willingheart,let him bringit as the LORD'Scontribution:gold,silver,and bronze,
Then MosescalledBezaleland Oholiaband everyskillfulpersonin whomthe LORDhad putskill,everyonewhoseheartstirredhim, to cometo the workto performit.
Watchover your heartwith alldiligence,For from it [flow] the springsof life.
Their leadershall be one of them, And their rulershall comeforthfrom their midst;And I will bringhim nearand he shall approachMe; For whowould dareto riskhis lifeto approachMe?' declaresthe LORD.
"You broodof vipers,howcanyou, beingevil,speakwhat is good?For the mouthspeaksout of that which fillsthe heart.
For ifthe readinessis present,it is acceptableaccordingto what [a person] has,not accordingto what he does not have.
Each one[must do] justas he has purposedin his heart,not grudginglyorundercompulsion,for Godlovesa cheerfulgiver.
"Awake,awake,Deborah;Awake,awake,singa song!Arise,Barak,and takeaway your captives,O sonof Abinoam.
"Hear,O kings;giveear,O rulers!I-- to the LORD,I will sing,I will singpraiseto the LORD,the Godof Israel.
"My heart[goes out] to the commandersof Israel,The volunteersamong the people;Blessthe LORD!
