When allthe peoplesawthe pillarof cloudstandingat the entranceof the tent,allthe peoplewould ariseand worship,eachat the entranceof his tent.
Then the kingfacedaboutand blessedallthe assemblyof Israel,while allthe assemblyof Israelwas standing.
Then Solomonstoodbeforethe altarof the LORDin the presenceof allthe assemblyof Israeland spreadout his handstoward heaven.
The LORDwas goingbeforethem in a pillarof cloudby dayto leadthem on the way,and in a pillarof fireby nightto givethem light,that they might travelby dayand by night.
Thus the LORDused to speakto Mosesfaceto face,justas a manspeaksto his friend.When Moses returnedto the camp,his servantJoshua,the sonof Nun,a youngman,would not departfrom the tent.
Whenever Mosesenteredthe tent,the pillarof cloudwould descendand standat the entranceof the tent;and the LORD would speakwith Moses.
So the peoplebelieved;and when they heardthat the LORDwas concernedabout the sonsof Israeland that He had seentheir affliction,then they bowedlowand worshiped.
"But the tax collector,standingsome distance away,was evenunwillingto liftup his eyesto heaven,but was beatinghis breast,saying,'God,be mercifulto me, the sinner!'
