"Then you shall takesomeof the bloodthat is on the altarand someof the anointingoil,and sprinkle[it] on Aaronand on his garmentsand on his sonsand on his sons'garmentswith him; so he and his garmentsshall be consecrated,as well as his sonsand his sons'garmentswith him.
It is like the preciousoilupon the head,Comingdownupon the beard,[Even] Aaron'sbeard,Comingdownupon the edgeof his robes.
"Now thisis whatyou shall doto them to consecratethem to ministeras prieststo Me: takeoneyoungbulland tworamswithoutblemish,
"You shall slaughterthe ram,and takesomeof its bloodand put[it] on the lobeof Aaron'sright earand on the lobesof his sons'rightearsand on the thumbsof their righthandsand on the bigtoesof their rightfeet,and sprinklethe [rest of the] bloodaroundon the altar.
"You shall also takethe fatfrom the ramand the fattail,and the fatthat coversthe entrailsand the lobeof the liver,and the twokidneysand the fatthat is on them and the rightthigh(for it is a ramof ordination),
"Then you shall takethe anointingoiland pourit on his headand anointhim.
"Moreover, the restof the oilthat is in the priest'spalmhe shall puton the headof the one to be cleansed,to makeatonementon his behalfbeforethe LORD.
Thisis that whichis consecratedto Aaronand that whichis consecratedto his sonsfrom the offeringsby fireto the LORD,in that daywhen he presentedthem to serveas prieststo the LORD.
Mosesslaughtered[it] and tooksomeof its bloodand putit on the lobeof Aaron'srightear,and on the thumbof his righthandand on the bigtoeof his rightfoot.
So Mosestooksomeof the anointingoiland someof the bloodwhichwas on the altarand sprinkledit on Aaron,on his garments,on his sons,and on the garmentsof his sonswith him; and he consecratedAaron,his garments,and his sons,and the garmentsof his sonswith him.
"For their sakesI sanctifyMyself,that they themselvesalsomay be sanctifiedin truth.
How muchsevererpunishmentdo you thinkhe will deservewho has trampled under footthe Sonof God,and has regardedas uncleanthe bloodof the covenantby whichhe was sanctified,and has insultedthe Spiritof grace?
And accordingto the Law,[one may] almost[say], all thingsare cleansedwith blood,and withoutshedding of bloodthere is noforgiveness.
