Godblessedthem; and Godsaidto them, "Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe earth,and subdueit; and ruleover the fishof the seaand over the birdsof the skyand over everylivingthingthat moveson the earth."
Godsawallthat He had made,and behold,it was verygood.And there was eveningand there was morning,the sixthday.
"It is a signbetweenMe and the sonsof Israelforever;for in sixdaysthe LORDmadeheavenand earth,but on the seventhdayHe ceased[from labor], and was refreshed."

Singto the LORDa newsong,[Sing] His praisefrom the endof the earth!You who godownto the sea,and allthat is in it. You islands,and those who dwellon them.
"SurelyMy handfoundedthe earth,And My righthandspreadout the heavens;When I callto them, they standtogether.
and saying,"Men,whyare you doingthese things?We are alsomenof the same natureas you, and preach the gospelto you that you should turnfrom thesevain thingsto a livingGod,WHOMADETHE HEAVENAND THE EARTHAND THE SEAAND ALLTHAT IS IN THEM.
On the firstday of the week,when we were gathered togetherto breakbread,Paul[began] talkingto them, intendingto leavethe next day,and he prolongedhis messageuntilmidnight.
And when they heard[this], they liftedtheir voicesto Godwith one accordand said,"O Lord,it is You who MADE THE HEAVENAND THE EARTHAND THE SEA,AND ALLTHAT IS IN THEM,
You shall rememberthat you were a slavein the landof Egypt,and the LORDyour Godbroughtyou out of thereby a mightyhandand by an outstretchedarm;thereforethe LORDyour Godcommandedyou to observethe sabbathday.
For He has saidsomewhereconcerningthe seventh[day]: "AND GODRESTEDON THE SEVENTHDAYFROM ALLHIS WORKS";
and sworeby Him who livesforeverand ever,WHOCREATEDHEAVENAND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE EARTHAND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE SEAAND THE THINGS IN IT, that there will be delayno longer,
