Now thisdaywill be a memorialto you, and you shall celebrateit [as] a feastto the LORD;throughout your generationsyou are to celebrateit [as] a permanentordinance.
Then the kingcommandedallthe peoplesaying,"Celebratethe Passoverto the LORDyour Godas it is writtenin thisbookof the covenant."
He has madeHis wondersto be remembered;The LORDis graciousand compassionate.
Your name,O LORD,is everlasting,Your remembrance,O LORD,throughout allgenerations.
You shall also observethe [Feast of] UnleavenedBread,for on thisverydayI broughtyour hostsout of the landof Egypt;therefore you shall observethisdaythroughout your generationsas a permanentordinance.
"And you shall observethiseventas an ordinancefor you and your childrenforever.
The LORDsaidto Mosesand Aaron,"Thisis the ordinanceof the Passover:noforeigneris to eatof it;
You shall keepit untilthe fourteenthdayof the samemonth,then the wholeassemblyof the congregationof Israelis to killit at twilight.
"You shall observethe Feastof UnleavenedBread;for sevendaysyou are to eatunleavenedbread,as I commandedyou, at the appointedtimein the monthAbib,for in it you cameout of Egypt.And noneshall appearbeforeMe empty-handed.
"In the tentof meeting,outsidethe veilwhichis beforethe testimony,Aaronand his sonsshall keepit in orderfrom eveningto morningbeforethe LORD;[it shall be] a perpetualstatutethroughout their generationsfor the sonsof Israel.
And afterwardMosesand Aaroncameand saidto Pharaoh,"Thussaysthe LORD,the Godof Israel,LetMy peoplegothat they may celebratea feastto Me in the wilderness.'"
"Also you shall providea grain offeringwith it morningby morning,a sixthof an ephahand a thirdof a hinof oilto moistenthe fineflour,a grain offeringto the LORDcontinuallyby a perpetualordinance.
Then on the fifteenthdayof the samemonththere is the Feastof UnleavenedBreadto the LORD;for sevendaysyou shall eatunleavenedbread.
"Now the crownwill becomea reminderin the templeof the LORDto Helem,Tobijah,Jedaiahand Henthe sonof Zephaniah.
"The priestlysonsof Aaron,moreover, shall blowthe trumpets;and this shall be for you a perpetualstatutethroughout your generations.
[As for] the assembly,there shall be onestatutefor you and for the alienwho sojourns[with you], a perpetualstatutethroughout your generations;as you are, so shall the alienbe beforethe LORD.
as a reminderto the sonsof Israelthat nolaymanwhois not of the descendantsof Aaronshould comenearto burnincensebeforethe LORD;so that he will not becomelike Korahand his company--justas the LORDhad spokento him throughMoses.
Then the LORDspoketo Aaron,"Now behold,I Myselfhave givenyou chargeof My offerings,even allthe holygifts of the sonsof IsraelI have giventhem to you as a portionand to your sonsas a perpetualallotment.
"TrulyI sayto you, whereverthisgospelis preachedin the wholeworld,whatthis womanhas donewill alsobe spokenof in memoryof her."
And when He had taken[some] bread[and] given thanks,He brokeit and gaveit to them, saying,"Thisis My bodywhich is givenfor you; dothisin remembranceof Me."
"Observethe monthof Abiband celebratethe Passoverto the LORDyour God,for in the monthof Abibthe LORDyour Godbroughtyou out of Egyptby night.
and you shall rejoicebeforethe LORDyour God,you and your sonand your daughterand your maleand femaleservantsand the Levitewhois in your town,and the strangerand the orphanand the widowwhoare in your midst,in the placewherethe LORDyour Godchoosesto establishHis name.
"You shall bindthem as a signon your handand they shall be as frontalson your forehead.
then you shall sayto them, 'Becausethe watersof the Jordanwere cutoffbeforethe arkof the covenantof the LORD;when it crossedthe Jordan,the watersof the Jordanwere cutoff.'So thesestonesshall becomea memorialto the sonsof Israelforever."
So it has beenfrom that dayforward,that he madeit a statuteand an ordinancefor Israelto thisday.
