Ohthat they hadsucha heartin them, that they would fearMe and keepallMy commandmentsalways,that it may be wellwith them and with their sonsforever!
"Ifonlyyou had paidattentionto My commandments!Then your well-beingwould have beenlike a river,And your righteousnesslike the wavesof the sea.
"You shall therefore lovethe LORDyour God,and alwayskeepHis charge,His statutes,His ordinances,and His commandments.
"Jerusalem,Jerusalem,who killsthe prophetsand stonesthosewho are sentto her! How oftenI wantedto gatheryour childrentogether,the waya hengathersher chicksunderher wings,and you were unwilling.
saying,"Ifyou had knownin thisday,evenyou, the things which make for peace!But nowthey have been hiddenfrom your eyes.
"So you shall keepHis statutesand His commandmentswhichI am givingyou today,that it may gowellwith you and with your childrenafteryou, and that you may livelongon the landwhichthe LORDyour Godis givingyou for alltime."
Honoryour fatherand your mother,as the LORDyour Godhas commandedyou, that your daysmay be prolongedand that it may gowellwith you on the landwhichthe LORDyour Godgivesyou.
Therefore,we are ambassadorsfor Christ,as thoughGodwere making an appealthroughus; we begyou on behalfof Christ,be reconciledto God.
Blessedare thosewho washtheir robes,sothat they may have the rightto the treeof life,and may enterby the gatesinto the city.
But one who looks intentlyat the perfectlaw,the [law] of liberty,and abidesby it, not having becomea forgetfulhearerbut an effectualdoer,this manwill be blessedin what he does.
SOTHAT IT MAY BE WELLWITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONGON THE EARTH.
And working together[with Him], we alsourgeyou not to receivethe graceof Godin vain--
"You are My friendsifyou dowhatI commandyou.
But He said,"On the contrary,blessedare thosewho hearthe wordof Godand observeit."
Yet I sentyou allMy servantsthe prophets,againand again,saying,"Oh,do not dothisabominablethingwhichI hate."
Sayto the righteousthat [it will go] well[with them], For they will eatthe fruitof their actions.
How blessedare those who keepjustice,Who practicerighteousnessat alltimes!
Moreover,by them Your servantis warned;In keepingthem there is greatreward.
Then Naomiher mother-in-lawsaidto her, "My daughter,shall I not seeksecurityfor you, that it may be wellwith you?
you shall certainlyletthe mothergo,but the youngyou may takefor yourself, in orderthat it may be wellwith you and that you may prolongyour days.
"You shall not pityhim, but you shall purgethe bloodof the innocentfrom Israel,that it may gowellwith you.
"Be carefulto listento allthesewordswhichI commandyou, sothat it may be wellwith you and your sonsafteryou forever,for you will be doingwhatis goodand rightin the sightof the LORDyour God.
"You shall not eatit, sothat it may be wellwith you and your sonsafteryou, for you will be doingwhatis rightin the sightof the LORD.
"You shall dowhat is rightand goodin the sightof the LORD,that it may be wellwith you and that you may goin and possessthe goodlandwhichthe LORDsworeto [give] your fathers,
"O Israel,you should listenand be carefulto do[it], that it may be wellwith you and that you may multiplygreatly,justas the LORD,the Godof your fathers,has promisedyou, [in] a landflowingwith milkand honey.
Seeto it that you do not refuseHim who is speaking.For ifthosedid not escapewhen they refusedhim who warned[them] on earth,muchless[will] we [escape] who turn awayfrom Him who [warns] from heaven.
Go,sayto them, "Returnto your tents."
"You shall walkin allthe waywhichthe LORDyour Godhas commandedyou, that you may liveand that it may be wellwith you, and that you may prolong[your] daysin the landwhichyou will possess.
That they should puttheir confidencein GodAnd not forgetthe worksof God,But keepHis commandments,
"Whether[it] is pleasantorunpleasant,we will listento the voiceof the LORDour Godto whomwe are sendingyou, sothat it may gowellwith us whenwe listento the voiceof the LORDour God."
"You shall not addto the wordwhichI am commandingyou, nortakeawayfrom it, that you may keepthe commandmentsof the LORDyour GodwhichI commandyou.
"[Remember] the dayyou stoodbeforethe LORDyour Godat Horeb,when the LORDsaidto me, 'Assemblethe peopleto Me, that I may let them hearMy wordssothey may learnto fearMe allthe daysthey liveon the earth,and that they may teachtheir children.'
"You should diligentlykeepthe commandmentsof the LORDyour God,and His testimoniesand His statuteswhichHe has commandedyou.
"Therefore, you shall keepthe commandmentsof the LORDyour God,to walkin His waysand to fearHim.
"Now,Israel,whatdoes the LORDyour Godrequirefrom you, but to fearthe LORDyour God,to walkin allHis waysand loveHim, and to servethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour soul,
"You shall fearthe LORDyour God;you shall serveHim and clingto Him, and you shall swearby His name.
"O LORD,the Godof Abraham,Isaacand Israel,our fathers,preservethisforeverin the intentionsof the heartof Your people,and directtheir heartto You;
Whocan discern[his] errors?Acquitme of hidden[faults].
"But I would feedyou with the finestof the wheat,And with honeyfrom the rockI would satisfyyou."
