From thesethe coastlandsof the nationswere separatedinto their lands,everyoneaccording to his language,according to their families,into their nations.
Saying,"To you I will givethe landof Canaan,As the portionof your inheritance."
To whomalonethe landwas given,And noalienpassedamongthem.
The heavensare the heavensof the LORD,But the earthHe has givento the sonsof men.
"Offerto Goda sacrificeof thanksgivingAnd payyour vowsto the MostHigh;
I will givethanksto the LORDaccording to His righteousnessAnd will singpraiseto the nameof the LORDMostHigh.
You have establishedallthe boundariesof the earth;You have madesummerand winter.
I said,"You are gods,And allof you are sonsof the MostHigh.
He who dwellsin the shelterof the MostHighWill abidein the shadowof the Almighty.
But You, O LORD,are on highforever.
I will ascendabovethe heightsof the clouds;I will makemyself likethe MostHigh.'
"This sentenceis by the decreeof the [angelic] watchersAnd the decisionis a commandof the holyones,In orderthat the livingmay knowThat the MostHighis rulerover the realmof mankind,And bestowsit on whomHe wishesAnd setsoverit the lowliestof men."
"O king,the MostHighGodgrantedsovereignty,grandeur,gloryand majestyto Nebuchadnezzaryour father.
"Thereforeyou will havenoone stretchinga measuringlineFor you by lotin the assemblyof the LORD.
"As I seehim from the topof the rocks,And I lookat him from the hills;Behold,a people[who] dwellsapart,And will not be reckonedamong the nations.
The oracleof him who hearsthe wordsof God,And knowsthe knowledgeof the MostHigh,Who seesthe visionof the Almighty,Fallingdown,yet having his eyesuncovered.
and He madefrom one[man] everynationof mankindto liveon allthe faceof the earth,having determined[their] appointedtimesand the boundariesof their habitation,
"However,the Most Highdoes not dwellin [houses] made by [human] hands;as the prophetsays:
"So Israeldwellsin security,The fountainof Jacobsecluded,In a landof grainand newwine;His heavensalsodropdowndew.
