"I approachedoneof those who were standingby and began askinghim the exactmeaningof allthis.So he toldme and madeknownto me the interpretationof these things:
"A riverof firewas flowingAnd comingout from beforeHim; Thousandsupon thousandswere attendingHim, And myriadsupon myriadswere standingbeforeHim; The courtsat,And the bookswere opened.
Thesegreatbeasts,whichare four[in number], are fourkings[who] will arisefrom the earth.
So he camenearto whereI was standing,and when he cameI was frightenedand fellon my face;but he saidto me, "Sonof man,understandthat the visionpertains to the timeof the end."
He gave[me] instructionand talkedwith me and said,"O Daniel,I have nowcomeforthto giveyou insightwith understanding.
So I saidto the angelwho was speakingwith me, "Whatare these?"And he answeredme, "Theseare the hornswhichhave scatteredJudah,Israeland Jerusalem."
And behold,the angelwho was speakingwith me was goingout, and anotherangelwas comingout to meethim,
"Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,'Ifyou will walkin My waysand ifyou will performMy service,then you will alsogovernMy houseand alsohavechargeof My courts,and I will grantyou freeaccessamongthesewho are standing[here].
and oneof the elderssaidto me, "Stopweeping;behold,the Lionthat is from the tribeof Judah,the Rootof David,has overcomeso as to openthe bookand its sevenseals."
