"Can anyone smashiron,Ironfrom the north,or bronze?
its legsof iron,its feetpartlyof ironand partlyof clay.
"Afteryou there will ariseanotherkingdominferiorto you, then anotherthirdkingdomof bronze,whichwill ruleover allthe earth.
"In that you sawthe feetand toes,partlyof potter'sclayand partlyof iron,it will be a dividedkingdom;but it will havein it the toughnessof iron,inasmuchas you sawthe ironmixedwith commonclay.
"AfterthisI keptlookingin the nightvisions,and behold,a fourthbeast,dreadfuland terrifyingand extremelystrong;and it had largeironteeth.It devouredand crushedand trampleddownthe remainderwith its feet;and it was differentfrom allthe beaststhat were beforeit, and it had tenhorns.
"His powerwill be mighty,but not by his [own] power,And he will destroyto an extraordinarydegreeAnd prosperand perform[his will]; He will destroymightymenand the holypeople.
"Then afterthe sixty-twoweeksthe Messiahwill be cutoffand havenothing,and the peopleof the princewho is to comewill destroythe cityand the sanctuary.And its end[will come] with a flood;even to the endthere will be war;desolationsare determined.
