ToisentJoramhis sonto KingDavidto greethim and blesshim, becausehe had foughtagainst Hadadezerand defeatedhim; for Hadadezerhad beenat warwith Toi.And [Joram] brought with him articlesof silver,of goldand of bronze.
Jehumetthe relativesof Ahaziahkingof Judahand said,"Whoare you?" And they answered,"We are the relativesof Ahaziah;and we have comedownto greetthe sonsof the kingand the sonsof the queenmother."
and they beganto acclaimHim, "Hail,Kingof the Jews!"
Festusthen,having arrivedin the province,threedayslaterwentup to Jerusalemfrom Caesarea.
Thenwhen Festushad conferredwith his council,he answered,"You have appealedto Caesar,to Caesaryou shall go."
Festusthenansweredthat Paulwas being kept in custodyat Caesareaand that he himselfwas aboutto leaveshortly.
Agrippasaidto Paul,"You are permittedto speakfor yourself."ThenPaulstretchedout his handand [proceeded] to make his defense:
But Philipfoundhimself at Azotus,and as he passed throughhe kept preaching the gospelto allthe citiesuntilhe cameto Caesarea.
As soon as he finishedofferingthe burntoffering,behold,Samuelcame;and Saulwentout to meethim [and] to greethim.
But oneof the youngmentoldAbigail,Nabal'swife,saying,"Behold,Davidsentmessengersfrom the wildernessto greetour master,and he scornedthem.
