I am unworthyof allthe lovingkindnessand of allthe faithfulnesswhichYou have shownto Your servant;for with my staff[only] I crossedthisJordan,and nowI have becometwocompanies.
"Then your maidservantsaid,'Pleaselet the wordof my lordthe kingbe comforting,for as the angelof God,sois my lordthe kingto discerngoodand evil.And may the LORDyour Godbe with you.'"
in orderto changethe appearanceof thingsyour servantJoabhas donethisthing.But my lordis wise,like the wisdomof the angelof God,to knowallthat is in the earth."
"But ifHe should saythus,I havenodelightin you,' behold,here I am, let Him doto me as seems goodto Him."
Then the kingsaid,"And whereis your master'sson?"And Zibasaidto the king,"Behold,he is stayingin Jerusalem,for he said,'Todaythe houseof Israelwill restorethe kingdomof my fatherto me.'"
So the kingsaidto him, "Whydo you stillspeakof your affairs?I have decided,'You and Zibashall dividethe land.'"
"You and your sonsand your servantsshall cultivatethe landfor him, and you shall bringin [the produce] so that your master'sgrandsonmay havefood;nevertheless Mephiboshethyour master'sgrandsonshall eatat my tableregularly."Now Zibahad fifteensonsand twentyservants.
So Mephiboshethlivedin Jerusalem,for he ateat the king'stableregularly.Now he was lamein bothfeet.
At the endof sevenyears,the womanreturnedfrom the landof the Philistines;and she wentout to appealto the kingfor her houseand for her field.
"Thisthingthat you have doneis not good.As the LORDlives,[all] of you mustsurelydie,becauseyou did not guardyour lord,the LORD'Sanointed.And now,seewherethe king'sspearis and the jugof waterthat was at his head."
