Josiahbecame the fatherof Jeconiahand his brothers,at the timeof the deportationto Babylon.
Afterthe deportationto Babylon:Jeconiahbecamethe fatherof Shealtiel,and Shealtielthe fatherof Zerubbabel.
Soallthe generationsfrom Abrahamto Davidare fourteengenerations;from Davidto the deportationto Babylon,fourteengenerations;and from the deportationto Babylonto the Messiah,fourteengenerations.
