Then he broughtallthe priestsfrom the citiesof Judah,and defiledthe highplaceswherethe priestshad burnedincense,from Gebato Beersheba;and he brokedownthe highplacesof the gateswhich[were] at the entranceof the gateof Joshuathe governorof the city,which[were] on one'sleftat the citygate.
So Abrahamroseearlyin the morningand tookbreadand a skinof waterand gave[them] to Hagar,putting[them] on her shoulder,and [gave her] the boy,and senther away.And she departedand wanderedabout in the wildernessof Beersheba.
Thereforehe calledthat placeBeersheba,becausetherethe twoof them tookan oath.
Then he wentup from thereto Beersheba.
Then KingAsamadea proclamationto allJudah--nonewas exempt--and they carriedaway the stonesof Ramahand its timberwith whichBaashahad built.And KingAsabuiltwith them Gebaof Benjaminand Mizpah.
And he was afraidand aroseand ranfor his lifeand cameto Beersheba,whichbelongs to Judah,and lefthis servantthere.
and from the tribeof Benjamin:Gebawith its pasturelands,Allemethwith its pasturelands,and Anathothwith its pasturelands.Alltheir citiesthroughout their familieswere thirteencities.
They have gonethroughthe pass,[saying], "Gebawill be our lodgingplace."Ramahis terrified,and Gibeahof Saulhas fledaway.
"But the Leviteswhowentfarfrom Me when Israelwentastray,whowentastrayfrom Me aftertheir idols,shall bearthe punishmentfor their iniquity.
"But do not resortto BethelAnd do not cometo Gilgal,Norcrossoverto Beersheba;For Gilgalwill certainlygointo captivityAnd Bethelwill cometo trouble.
Allthe landwill be changedinto a plainfrom Gebato Rimmonsouthof Jerusalem;but Jerusalem will riseand remainon its sitefrom Benjamin'sGateas faras the placeof the FirstGateto the CornerGate,and from the Towerof Hananelto the king'swinepresses.
and Chephar-ammoniand Ophniand Geba;twelvecitieswith their villages.
From the tribeof Benjamin,Gibeonwith its pasturelands,Gebawith its pasturelands,
Then allthe sonsof Israelfrom Danto Beersheba,including the landof Gilead,cameout, and the congregationassembledas onemanto the LORDat Mizpah.
