Therefore,I was not vacillatingwhen I intendedto do this,was I? OrwhatI purpose,do I purposeaccordingto the flesh,sothat with me there will be yes,yesand no,no[at the same time]?
"Behold,I am againstthose who have prophesiedfalse~dreams,"declaresthe LORD,"and relatedthem and ledMy peopleastrayby their falsehoodsand recklessboasting;yet I did not sendthem or commandthem, nordo they furnishthispeoplethe slightestbenefit,"declaresthe LORD.
Her prophetsare reckless,treacherousmen;Her priestshave profanedthe sanctuary.They have doneviolenceto the law.
And Josephher husband,beinga righteous manand not wantingto disgraceher, plannedto send her awaysecretly.
"But let your statementbe, 'Yes,yes[or] 'No,no;anything beyondtheseis of evil.
"You judgeaccordingto the flesh;I am not judginganyone.
For our proud confidenceis this:the testimonyof our conscience,that in holinessand godlysincerity,not in fleshlywisdombut in the graceof God,we have conductedourselves in the world,and especiallytowardyou.
Sincemanyboastaccordingto the flesh,I will boastalso.
to revealHis Sonin me sothat I might preachHim amongthe Gentiles,I did not immediatelyconsultwith fleshand blood,
