The sonsof Israelpresentin Jerusalemcelebratedthe Feastof UnleavenedBread[for] sevendayswith greatjoy,and the Levitesand the priestspraisedthe LORDdayafter daywith loudinstrumentsto the LORD.
When he had consultedwith the people,he appointedthose who sangto the LORDand those who praised[Him] in holyattire,as they wentout beforethe armyand said,"Givethanksto the LORD,for His lovingkindnessis everlasting."
Moreover, KingHezekiahand the officialsorderedthe Levitesto singpraisesto the LORDwith the wordsof Davidand Asaphthe seer.So they sangpraiseswith joy,and boweddownand worshiped.
Neverthelesssomemenof Asher,Manassehand Zebulunhumbledthemselves and cameto Jerusalem.
So there was greatjoyin Jerusalem,becausethere was nothinglike thisin Jerusalemsincethe daysof Solomonthe sonof David,kingof Israel.
Thus the sonsof Israelwho were presentcelebratedthe Passoverat that time,and the Feastof UnleavenedBreadsevendays.
Then on the twenty-thirddayof the seventhmonthhe sentthe peopleto their tents,rejoicingand happyof heartbecauseof the goodnessthat the LORDhad shownto Davidand to Solomonand to His peopleIsrael.
Then he saidto them, "Go,eatof the fat,drinkof the sweet,and sendportionsto him who has nothingprepared;for this dayis holyto our Lord.Do not be grieved,for the joyof the LORDis your strength."
The entireassemblyof those who had returnedfrom the captivitymadeboothsand livedin them. The sonsof Israelhad indeednot donesofrom the daysof Joshuathe sonof Nunto that day.And there was greatrejoicing.
Sevendaysyou shall eatunleavenedbread,but on the firstdayyou shall removeleavenfrom your houses;for whoevereatsanything leavenedfrom the firstdayuntilthe seventhday,that personshall be cutofffrom Israel.
"For sevendaysyou shall eatunleavenedbread,and on the seventhdaythere shall be a feastto the LORD.
Then on the fifteenthdayof the samemonththere is the Feastof UnleavenedBreadto the LORD;for sevendaysyou shall eatunleavenedbread.
and as they were returning,after spending the full numberof days,the boyJesusstayed behindin Jerusalem.But His parentswere unawareof it,
Nowthe Feastof UnleavenedBread, which is calledthe Passover,was approaching.
Thencamethe [first] dayof UnleavenedBread on whichthe Passover[lamb] hadto be sacrificed.
Day by daycontinuingwith one mindin the temple,and breakingbreadfrom house to house,they were takingtheir mealstogetherwith gladnessand sincerityof heart,
"And you shall rejoicebeforethe LORDyour God,you and your sonsand daughters,your maleand femaleservants,and the Levitewhois within your gates,sincehe hasnoportionor inheritancewith you.
"Therealso you and your householdsshall eatbeforethe LORDyour God,and rejoicein allyour undertakingsin whichthe LORDyour Godhas blessedyou.
and you shall rejoicein your feast,you and your sonand your daughterand your maleand femaleservantsand the Leviteand the strangerand the orphanand the widowwhoare in your towns.
Rejoicein the Lordalways;againI will say,rejoice!
