She looked,and behold,the kingwas standingby his pillarat the entrance,and the captainsand the trumpeters[were] besidethe king.And allthe peopleof the landrejoicedand blewtrumpets,the singerswith [their] musicalinstrumentsleadingthe praise.Then Athaliahtoreher clothesand said,"Treason!Treason!"

The kingstoodby the pillarand madea covenantbeforethe LORD,to walkafterthe LORD,and to keepHis commandmentsand His testimoniesand His statuteswith all[his] heartand all[his] soul,to carryout the wordsof thiscovenantthat were writtenin thisbook.And allthe peopleenteredinto the covenant.
Then they hurriedand eachmantookhis garmentand placedit underhim on the baresteps,and blewthe trumpet,saying,"Jehuis king!"
So Joramreinedaboutand fledand saidto Ahaziah,"[There is] treachery,O Ahaziah!"
Moreover those who were nearto them, [even] as faras Issacharand Zebulunand Naphtali,broughtfoodon donkeys,camels,mulesand on oxen,greatquantitiesof flourcakes,figcakesand bunchesof raisins,wine,oil,oxenand sheep.There was joyindeedin Israel.
Shebaniah,Joshaphat,Nethanel,Amasai,Zechariah,Benaiahand Eliezer,the priests,blewthe trumpetsbeforethe arkof God.Obed-edomand Jehiahalso [were] gatekeepersfor the ark.
Now Davidwas clothedwith a robeof finelinenwith allthe Leviteswho were carryingthe ark,and the singersand Chenaniahthe leaderof the singing[with] the singers.Davidalso worean ephodof linen.
When Athaliahheardthe noiseof the peoplerunningand praisingthe king,she cameinto the houseof the LORDto the people.
Jehoiadathe priestbroughtout the captainsof hundredswho were appointedover the armyand saidto them, "Bringher out betweenthe ranks;and whoever followsher, putto deathwith the sword."For the priestsaid,"Let her not be putto deathin the houseof the LORD."
Then the kingstoodin his placeand madea covenantbeforethe LORDto walkafterthe LORD,and to keepHis commandmentsand His testimoniesand His statuteswith allhis heartand with allhis soul,to performthe wordsof the covenantwrittenin thisbook.
Therethey are in greatdread,For Godis with the righteousgeneration.
When it goes wellwith the righteous,the cityrejoices,And when the wickedperish,there is joyfulshouting.
When the righteousincrease,the peoplerejoice,But when a wickedmanrules,peoplegroan.
Moreover,mandoes not knowhis time:like fishcaughtin a treacherousnetand birdstrappedin a snare,so the sonsof menare ensnaredat an eviltimewhen it suddenlyfallson them.
"The princeshall enterby wayof the porchof the gatefrom outsideand standby the postof the gate.Then the priestsshall providehis burntofferingand his peaceofferings,and he shall worshipat the thresholdof the gateand then goout; but the gateshall not be shutuntilthe evening.
So the 300 men tookthe people'sprovisionsand their trumpetsinto their hands.And Gideon sentallthe [other] menof Israel,eachto his tent,but retainedthe 300men;and the campof Midianwas belowhim in the valley.
