"Nowtherefore, knowand considerwhatyou should do,for evilis plottedagainstour masterand againstallhis household;and he is such a worthlessmanthat noone can speakto him."
So Gadcameto Davidand toldhim, and saidto him, "Shall sevenyearsof faminecometo you in your land?Orwill you fleethreemonthsbeforeyour foeswhile they pursueyou? Or shall there be threedays'pestilencein your land?Nowconsiderand seewhatanswerI shall returnto Him who sentme."
and seattwoworthlessmenbeforehim, and let them testifyagainst him, saying,You cursedGodand the king.'Then takehim out and stonehim to death."
Then the twoworthlessmencamein and satbeforehim; and the worthlessmentestifiedagainst him, even against Naboth,beforethe people,saying,"NabothcursedGodand the king."So they tookhim outsidethe cityand stonedhim to deathwith stones.
and worthlessmengatheredabouthim, scoundrels,who provedtoostrongfor Rehoboam,the sonof Solomon,when he was youngand timidand could not holdhis ownagainstthem.
As he was talkingwith him, the king saidto him, "Have we appointedyou a royalcounselor?Stop!Whyshould you be struckdown?"Then the prophetstoppedand said,"I knowthat Godhas plannedto destroyyou, becauseyou have donethisand have not listenedto my counsel."
The kingarosein his angerfrom drinkingwine[and went] into the palacegarden;but Hamanstayedto begfor his lifefrom QueenEsther,for he sawthat harmhad been determinedagainsthim by the king.
A manwill be praisedaccordingto his insight,But one of perversemindwill be despised.
some worthlessmenhave goneout from amongyou and have seducedthe inhabitantsof their city,saying,Let us goand serveothergods(whomyou have not known),
While they were celebrating,behold,the menof the city,certainworthlessfellows,surroundedthe house,poundingthe door;and they spoketo the ownerof the house,the oldman,saying,"Bringout the manwhocameinto your housethat we may haverelationswith him."
But certain worthlessmensaid,"Howcan thisonedeliverus?" And they despisedhim and did not bringhim any present.But he keptsilent.
Now the sonsof Eliwere worthlessmen;they did not knowthe LORD
"Ifhe says,'It is good,'your servant[will be] safe;but ifhe is veryangry,knowthat he has decidedon evil.
Jonathansaid,"Farbe it from you! For ifI should indeedlearnthat evilhas been decidedby my fatherto comeupon you, then would I not tellyou about it?"

Then Abigailhurriedand tooktwo hundred[loaves] of breadand twojugsof wineand fivesheepalready preparedand fivemeasuresof roastedgrainand a hundredclustersof raisinsand two hundredcakesof figs,and loaded[them] on donkeys.
