Thussaysthe LORD,"Justas the shepherdsnatchesfrom the lion'smoutha coupleof legsora pieceof an ear,Sowill the sonsof Israeldwellingin Samariabe snatchedaway--With [the] cornerof a bedand [the] coverof a couch!
"For behold,I am going to raiseup a shepherdin the landwho will not carefor the perishing,seekthe scattered,healthe broken,or sustainthe one standing,but will devourthe fleshof the fat[sheep] and tearofftheir hoofs.
And I will removetheir bloodfrom their mouthAnd their detestablethingsfrom betweentheir teeth.Then they alsowill be a remnantfor our God,And be like a clanin Judah,And Ekronlike a Jebusite.

The Spiritof the LORDcameupon him mightily,so that he torehim as one tearsa younggoatthough he hadnothingin his hand;but he did not tellhis fatheror motherwhathe had done.
