Now the kingof Israeland Jehoshaphatkingof Judahwere sittingeachon his throne,arrayedin [their] robes,at the threshingfloorat the entranceof the gateof Samaria;and allthe prophetswere prophesyingbeforethem.
When middaywas past,they raveduntilthe time of the offeringof the [evening] sacrifice;but therewas novoice,nooneanswered,and noonepaidattention.
The kingof Israelsaidto Jehoshaphat,"I will disguisemyself and gointo the battle,but you puton your robes."So the kingof Israeldisguisedhimself and wentinto the battle.
Then the kingof Israelgatheredthe prophetstogether, about fourhundredmen,and saidto them, "Shall I goagainstRamoth-gileadto battleorshall I refrain?"And they said,"Goup, for the Lordwill give[it] into the handof the king."
Then the kingof Israelcalledan officerand said,"BringquicklyMicaiahsonof Imlah."
Now it cameabout on the thirddaythat Estherputon her royalrobesand stoodin the innercourtof the king'spalacein frontof the king'srooms,and the kingwas sittingon his royalthronein the throneroom,oppositethe entranceto the palace.
"But whatdid you goout to see?A mandressedin soft[clothing]? Thosewho wearsoft[clothing] are in kings'palaces!
"But storeup for yourselvestreasuresin heaven,whereneithermothnorrustdestroys,and wherethievesdo not breakin orsteal;
On an appointeddayHerod,having puton his royalapparel,took his seaton the rostrumand [began] delivering an addressto them.
So,on the next daywhen Agrippacametogetherwith Berniceamidgreatpomp,and enteredthe auditoriumaccompaniedby the commandersand the prominentmenof the city,at the commandof Festus,Paulwas broughtin.
