Then Omriand allIsraelwith him wentup from Gibbethonand besiegedTirzah.
Then Pekahsonof Remaliah,his officer,conspiredagainsthim and struckhim in Samaria,in the castleof the king'shousewith Argoband Arieh;and with him were fiftymenof the Gileadites,and he killedhim and becamekingin his place.
As Jehuenteredthe gate,she said,"Is it well,Zimri,your master'smurderer?"
And he threwthe pieces of silverinto the temple sanctuaryand departed;and he went awayand hangedhimself.
Then he calledquicklyto the youngman,his armorbearer,and saidto him, "Drawyour swordand killme, sothat it will not be saidof me, 'A womanslewhim.'" So the youngmanpiercedhim through,and he died.
