He criedagainstthe altarby the wordof the LORD,and said,"O altar,altar,thussaysthe LORD,'Behold,a sonshall be bornto the houseof David,Josiahby name;and on you he shall sacrificethe priestsof the highplaceswho burnincenseon you, and humanbonesshall be burnedon you.'"
"For the thingshall surelycometo passwhichhe criedby the wordof the LORDagainstthe altarin Betheland againstallthe housesof the highplaceswhichare in the citiesof Samaria."
Josiah[was] eightyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedthirty-oneyearsin Jerusalem.
For in the eighthyearof his reignwhile he was stilla youth,he beganto seekthe Godof his fatherDavid;and in the twelfthyearhe beganto purgeJudahand Jerusalemof the highplaces,the Asherim,the carvedimagesand the moltenimages.
Listen,O heavens,and hear,O earth;For the LORDspeaks,"SonsI have rearedand broughtup, But they have revoltedagainst Me.
"Behold,the formerthingshave cometo pass,Now I declarenewthings;Beforethey springforthI proclaim[them] to you."
Declaringthe endfrom the beginning,And from ancienttimesthings whichhave not been done,Saying,My purposewill be established,And I will accomplishallMy goodpleasure';
"Cryloudly,do not holdback;Raiseyour voicelike a trumpet,And declareto My peopletheir transgressionAnd to the houseof Jacobtheir sins.

"O land,land,land,Hearthe wordof the LORD!
"And you, sonof man,prophesyto the mountainsof Israeland say,'O mountainsof Israel,hearthe wordof the LORD.
Therefore,O mountainsof Israel,hearthe wordof the LordGOD.Thussaysthe LordGODto the mountainsand to the hills,to the ravinesand to the valleys,to the desolatewastesand to the forsakencitieswhichhave becomea preyand a derisionto the restof the nationswhichare roundabout,
"I will turnyou aboutand puthooksinto your jaws,and I will bringyou out, and allyour army,horsesand horsemen,allof them splendidlyattired,a greatcompany[with] bucklerand shield,allof them wieldingswords;
But Jesus answered,"I tellyou, ifthesebecome silent,the stoneswill cryout!"
