Whatwas from the beginning,whatwe have heard,whatwe have seenwith our eyes,whatwe have lookedat and touchedwith our hands,concerningthe Wordof Life--
ThenHe saidto Thomas,"Reachherewith your finger,and seeMy hands;and reachhere your handand putit into My side;and do not be unbelieving,but believing."
for we cannotstopspeakingabout whatwe have seenand heard."
We have seenand testifythat the Fatherhas sentthe Son[to be] the Saviorof the world.
"For justas the Fatherhaslifein Himself,evensoHe gaveto the Sonalsoto havelifein Himself;
"SeeMy handsand My feet,that it is I Myself;touchMe and see,for a spiritdoes not havefleshand bonesas you seethat I have."
Jesussaidto them, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, beforeAbrahamwas born,I am."
"I amthe Alphaand the Omega,"saysthe LordGod,"who is and whowas and who is to come,the Almighty."
And he who has seenhas testified, and his testimonyis true;and he knowsthat he is tellingthe truth,sothat you alsomay believe.
To theseHe alsopresentedHimselfaliveafterHis suffering,by manyconvincing proofs,appearingto them over[a period of] fortydaysand speakingof the things concerningthe kingdomof God.
[He is] clothedwith a robedippedin blood,and His nameis calledThe Wordof God.
"And to the angelof the churchin Smyrnawrite:The firstand the last,whowas dead,and has come to life,saysthis:
justas they were handed downto us by thosewho from the beginningwere eyewitnessesand servantsof the word,
"But as for you, BethlehemEphrathah,[Too] littleto be among the clansof Judah,From you One will goforthfor Me to be rulerin Israel.His goingsforthare from longago,From the daysof eternity."
saying,"Writein a bookwhatyou see,and send[it] to the sevenchurches:to Ephesusand to Smyrnaand to Pergamumand to Thyatiraand to Sardisand to Philadelphiaand to Laodicea."
"Whohas performedand accomplished[it], Callingforth the generationsfrom the beginning?I, the LORD,am the first,and with the last.I am He.'"
For thereare threethat testify:
howwill we escapeif we neglectso greata salvation?Afterit was at the firstspokenthroughthe Lord,it was confirmedto us by thosewho heard,
