Accordingto the graceof Godwhich was givento me, likea wisemaster builderI laida foundation,and anotheris buildingon it. But each manmust be carefulhowhe buildson it.
Then Huramcontinued,"Blessedbe the LORD,the Godof Israel,whohas madeheavenand earth,whohas givenKingDavida wiseson,endowedwith discretionand understanding,whowill builda housefor the LORDand a royalpalacefor himself.
And allthe skillfulmenwho were performingallthe workof the sanctuarycame,eachfrom the workwhichhe was performing,
A manwill be praisedaccordingto his insight,But one of perversemindwill be despised.
Wisdomhas builther house,She has hewnout her sevenpillars;
In additionto beinga wiseman,the Preacheralsotaughtthe peopleknowledge;and he pondered,searchedout and arrangedmanyproverbs.
"Those who haveinsightwill shinebrightlylike the brightnessof the expanseof heaven,and those who leadthe manyto righteousness,like the starsforeverand ever.
"The handsof Zerubbabelhave laidthe foundationof thishouse,and his handswill finish[it]. Then you will knowthat the LORDof hostshas sentme to you.
"Whothenis the faithfuland sensibleslavewhomhis masterput in chargeof his householdto givethem their foodat the proper time?
"Thereforeeveryonewhohearsthesewordsof Mineand actson them, may be comparedto a wisemanwhobuilthis houseon the rock.
"Thenwatchout that the lightin you is not darkness.
And He said,"Seeto it that you are not misled;for manywill comein My name,saying,I am[He],' and, 'The timeis near.'Do not goafterthem.
And when he wantedto go acrossto Achaia,the brethrenencouragedhim and wroteto the disciplesto welcomehim; and when he had arrived,he greatlyhelpedthosewho had believedthroughgrace,
throughwhomwe have receivedgraceand apostleshipto bring about[the] obedienceof faithamongallthe Gentilesfor His name'ssake,
For throughthe gracegivento me I sayto everyoneamongyou not to think more highlyof himself thanhe oughtto think;but to thinksoas to have sound judgment,as Godhas allottedto eacha measureof faith.
But I have writtenvery boldlyto you on some pointssoas to remind you again,becauseof the gracethat was givenme from God,
And thusI aspiredto preach the gospel,not whereChristwas [already] named,sothat I would not buildon another man'sfoundation;
For no mancanlaya foundationotherthanthe one which is laid,whichis JesusChrist.
Ifto othersI amnot an apostle,at leastI amto you; for you are the sealof my apostleshipin the Lord.
not boastingbeyond[our] measure,[that] [is], in other men'slabors,but with the hopethat as your faithgrows,we will be, withinour sphere,enlargedevenmoreby you,
having been builton the foundationof the apostlesand prophets,ChristJesusHimselfbeingthe corner[stone],
For thispurpose alsoI labor,strivingaccordingto His power, which mightilyworkswithinme.
Sayto Archippus,"Take heedto the ministrywhichyou have receivedin the Lord,that you may fulfillit."
and we sentTimothy,our brotherand God'sfellow workerin the gospelof Christ,to strengthenand encourageyou as to your faith,
Pay close attentionto yourselfand to your teaching;perseverein these things,for as you dothisyou will ensure salvationbothfor yourselfand for thosewho hearyou.
Be diligentto presentyourselfapprovedto Godas a workmanwho does not need to be ashamed,accurately handlingthe wordof truth.
Let not many[of you] becometeachers,my brethren,knowingthat as such we will incura stricterjudgment.
Whoeverspeaks,[is to do so] as onewho is speakingthe utterancesof God;whoeverserves[is to do] [so] as onewho is servingby the strengthwhichGodsupplies;sothat in all thingsGodmay be glorifiedthroughJesusChrist,to whombelongsthe gloryand dominionforeverand ever.Amen.
and regardthe patienceof our Lord[as] salvation;justas alsoour belovedbrotherPaul,accordingto the wisdomgivenhim, wroteto you,
