Then Davidthe kingwentin and satbeforethe LORD,and he said,"Whoam I, O LordGOD,and whatis my house,that You have broughtme thisfar?
Then Davidthe kingwentin and satbeforethe LORDand said,"Whoam I, O LORDGod,and whatis my housethat You have broughtme thisfar?
"Nowtherefore, our God,we thankYou, and praiseYour gloriousname.
"For we are sojournersbeforeYou, and tenants,as allour fatherswere; our dayson the earthare like a shadow,and thereis nohope.
"O LORDour God,allthisabundancethat we have providedto buildYou a housefor Your holyname,it is from Your hand,and allis Yours.
Then the peoplerejoicedbecausethey had offeredso willingly,for they madetheir offeringto the LORDwith a wholeheart,and KingDavidalsorejoicedgreatly.
"The housewhichI am about to build[will be] great,for greateris our Godthanallthe gods.
Not to us, O LORD,not to us, But to Your namegivegloryBecauseof Your lovingkindness,becauseof Your truth.
But Mosessaidto God,"Whoam I, that I should goto Pharaoh,and that I should bringthe sonsof Israelout of Egypt?"
"The kingreflectedand said,'Is thisnot Babylonthe great,whichI myselfhave builtas a royalresidenceby the mightof my powerand for the gloryof my majesty?'
The silveris Mine and the goldis Mine,' declaresthe LORDof hosts.
For from Him and throughHim and to Him are all things.To Him [be] the gloryforever.Amen.
On the firstday of everyweekeach oneof you is to putasideand save,as he may prosper,sothat nocollectionsbe madewhenI come.
Not that we are adequatein ourselvesto consideranythingas [coming] from ourselves,but our adequacyis from God,

for it is Godwho is at workin you, bothto willand to workfor [His] good pleasure.
Everygoodthing givenand everyperfectgiftis from above,coming downfrom the Fatherof lights,with whomthereis novariationorshiftingshadow.
the twenty-fourelderswill fall downbeforeHim who sitson the throne,and will worshipHim who livesforeverand ever,and will casttheir crownsbeforethe throne,saying,
