"Both richesand honor[come] from You, and You ruleover all,and in Your handis powerand might;and it lies in Your handto makegreatand to strengtheneveryone.
"Nowtherefore, our God,we thankYou, and praiseYour gloriousname.
wisdomand knowledgehave been grantedto you. And I will giveyou richesand wealthand honor,suchas noneof the kingswhowere beforeyou has possessednorthose who will come afteryou."
"For the eyesof the LORDmoveto and frothroughoutthe earththat He may stronglysupportthose whose heartis completelyHis. You have actedfoolishlyin this.Indeed,from nowon you will surely havewars."
and he said,"O LORD,the Godof our fathers,are You not Godin the heavens?And are You not ruleroverallthe kingdomsof the nations?Powerand mightare in Your handso that noonecan standagainstYou.
He madecitiesfor himself and acquiredflocksand herdsin abundance,for Godhad givenhim verygreatwealth.
The LORDrestoredthe fortunesof Jobwhen he prayedfor his friends,and the LORDincreasedallthat Jobhad twofold.
"If[it is a matter] of power,behold,[He is] the strongone!And if[it is a matter] of justice,whocan summonHim?
The LORDhas establishedHis thronein the heavens,And His sovereigntyrulesover all.
The LORDis their strength,And He is a savingdefenseto His anointed.
Ascribeto the LORD,O sonsof the mighty,Ascribeto the LORDgloryand strength.
The LORDwill givestrengthto His people;The LORDwill blessHis peoplewith peace.
OnceGodhas spoken;TwiceI have heardthis:That powerbelongs to God;
And lovingkindnessis Yours, O Lord,For You recompensea manaccording to his work.
It is the blessingof the LORDthat makesrich,And He addsnosorrowto it.
"Richesand honorare with me, Enduringwealthand righteousness.
Furthermore,as for everymanto whomGodhas givenrichesand wealth,He has also empoweredhim to eatfrom them and to receivehis rewardand rejoicein his labor;thisis the giftof God.
He givesstrengthto the weary,And to [him who] lacksmightHe increasespower.
"Evenfrom eternityI am He, And thereis nonewho can deliverout of My hand;I actand whocan reverseit?"
"They will sayof Me, 'Onlyin the LORDare righteousnessand strength.'Men will cometo Him, And allwho were angryat Him will be putto shame.
Declaringthe endfrom the beginning,And from ancienttimesthings whichhave not been done,Saying,My purposewill be established,And I will accomplishallMy goodpleasure';
Danielsaid,"Let the nameof Godbe blessedforeverand ever,For wisdomand powerbelong to Him.
"I makea decreethat in allthe dominionof my kingdommen are to fearand tremblebeforethe Godof Daniel;For He is the livingGodand enduringforever,And His kingdomis one whichwill not be destroyed,And His dominion[will be] forever.
And Jesuscameup and spoketo them, saying,"Allauthorityhas been givento Me in heavenand on earth.
Jesusanswered,"You would havenoauthorityoverMe, unlessit had beengivenyou from above;for thisreasonhe who deliveredMe to you has[the] greatersin."
that He would grantyou, accordingto the richesof His glory,to be strengthenedwith powerthroughHis Spiritin the innerman,
Nowto Him who is ableto dofar more abundantlybeyondallthat we askorthink,accordingto the powerthat workswithinus,
"But you shall rememberthe LORDyour God,for it is He who is givingyou powerto makewealth,that He may confirmHis covenantwhichHe sworeto your fathers,as [it is] thisday.
I can doall thingsthroughHim who strengthensme.
strengthenedwith allpower,accordingto His gloriousmight,for the attaining of allsteadfastnessand patience;joyously
that allthe peoplesof the earthmay knowthat the handof the LORDis mighty,sothat you may fearthe LORDyour Godforever."
saying,"We give You thanks,O LordGod,the Almighty,who are and whowere, becauseYou have takenYour greatpowerand have begun to reign.
