The kingmadeof the almugtreessupportsfor the houseof the LORDand for the king'shouse,also lyresand harpsfor the singers;suchalmugtreeshave not comein [again] norhave they been seento thisday.

Davidand allIsraelwere celebratingbeforeGodwith all[their] might,even with songsand with lyres,harps,tambourines,cymbalsand with trumpets.
Thus allIsraelbroughtup the arkof the covenantof the LORDwith shouting,and with soundof the horn,with trumpets,with loud-soundingcymbals,with harpsand lyres.
And he gatheredtogether allthe leadersof Israelwith the priestsand the Levites.
Of the sonsof Asaph:Zaccur,Joseph,Nethaniahand Asharelah;the sonsof Asaph[were] underthe directionof Asaph,who prophesiedunderthe directionof the king.
Of Jeduthun,the sonsof Jeduthun:Gedaliah,Zeri,Jeshaiah,Shimei, Hashabiahand Mattithiah,six,underthe directionof their fatherJeduthunwith the harp,who prophesiedin givingthanksand praisingthe LORD.
Now the firstlotcameout for Asaphto Joseph,the secondfor Gedaliah,he with his relativesand sons[were] twelve;
The sonsof Levi[were] Gershom,Kohathand Merari.
Theseare those who servedwith their sons:From the sonsof the Kohathites[were] Hemanthe singer,the sonof Joel,the sonof Samuel,
[Heman's] brotherAsaphstoodat his righthand,even Asaphthe sonof Berechiah,the sonof Shimea,
On the lefthand[were] their kinsmenthe sonsof Merari:Ethanthe sonof Kishi,the sonof Abdi,the sonof Malluch,
Now theseare the singers,headsof fathers'[households] of the Levites,[who lived] in the chambers[of the temple] free[from other service]; for they were engagedin their workdayand night.
Now in the seventhyearJehoiadastrengthenedhimself, and tookcaptainsof hundreds:Azariahthe sonof Jeroham,Ishmaelthe sonof Johanan,Azariahthe sonof Obed,Maaseiahthe sonof Adaiah,and Elishaphatthe sonof Zichri,[and they entered] into a covenantwith him.
She looked,and behold,the kingwas standingby his pillarat the entrance,and the captainsand the trumpeters[were] besidethe king.And allthe peopleof the landrejoicedand blewtrumpets,the singerswith [their] musicalinstrumentsleadingthe praise.Then Athaliahtoreher clothesand said,"Treason!Treason!"
Moreover, Jehoiadaplacedthe officesof the houseof the LORDunder the authorityof the Leviticalpriests,whomDavidhad assignedoverthe houseof the LORD,to offerthe burntofferingsof the LORD,as it is writtenin the lawof Moses--with rejoicingand singingaccordingto the orderof David.
Then Jehoiadathe priestgaveto the captainsof hundredsthe spearsand the largeand smallshieldswhichhad been KingDavid's,whichwere in the houseof God.
and from the sonsof Elizaphan,Shimriand Jeiel;and from the sonsof Asaph,Zechariahand Mattaniah;
and from the sonsof Heman,Jehieland Shimei;and from the sonsof Jeduthun,Shemaiahand Uzziel.
And Hezekiahappointedthe divisionsof the priestsand the Levitesby their divisions,eachaccordingto his service,[both] the priestsand the Levites,for burntofferingsand for peaceofferings,to ministerand to givethanksand to praisein the gatesof the campof the LORD.
The mendidthe workfaithfullywith foremenoverthem to supervise:Jahathand Obadiah,the Levitesof the sonsof Merari,Zechariahand Meshullamof the sonsof the Kohathites,and the Levites,allwho were skillfulwith musicalinstruments.
The singers,the sonsof Asaph,[were] also at their stationsaccording to the commandof David,Asaph,Heman,and Jeduthunthe king'sseer;and the gatekeepersat eachgatedid not haveto departfrom their service,becausethe Levitestheir brethrenpreparedfor them.
and allthe Leviticalsingers,Asaph,Heman,Jeduthun,and their sonsand kinsmen,clothedin finelinen,with cymbals,harpsand lyres,standingeastof the altar,and with them one hundredand twentypriestsblowingtrumpets
Now according to the ordinanceof his fatherDavid,he appointedthe divisionsof the priestsfor their service,and the Levitesfor their dutiesof praiseand ministeringbeforethe priestsaccording to the dailyrule,and the gatekeepersby their divisionsat everygate;for Davidthe manof Godhad socommanded.

Then they appointedthe prieststo their divisionsand the Levitesin their ordersfor the serviceof Godin Jerusalem,as it is writtenin the bookof Moses.
and Mattaniahthe sonof Mica,the sonof Zabdi,the sonof Asaph,who was the leaderin beginningthe thanksgivingat prayer,and Bakbukiah,the secondamonghis brethren;and Abdathe sonof Shammua,the sonof Galal,the sonof Jeduthun.
The headsof the Levites[were] Hashabiah,Sherebiahand Jeshuathe sonof Kadmiel,with their brothersoppositethem, to praise[and] givethanks,as prescribedby Davidthe manof God,divisioncorrespondingto division.
Now at the dedicationof the wallof Jerusalemthey soughtout the Levitesfrom alltheir places,to bringthem to Jerusalemso that they might celebratethe dedicationwith gladness,with hymnsof thanksgivingand with songs[to the accompaniment] of cymbals,harpsand lyres.

"Afterwardyou will cometo the hillof Godwherethe Philistinegarrisonis; and it shall be as soon as you have comethereto the city,that you will meeta groupof prophetscomingdownfrom the highplacewith harp,tambourine,flute,and a lyrebeforethem, and they will be prophesying.
