distress and anguish terrify them; they prevail against them like a king prepared for battle.


He has torn me in his wrath and hated me; he has gnashed his teeth at me; my adversary sharpens his eyes against me.


Look, he finds occasions against me; he counts me as his enemy;


How long, O Lord? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your wrath burn like fire?
