but you shall worship the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm; you shall bow yourselves to him, and to him you shall sacrifice.
in whose eyes the wicked are despised but who honor those who fear the Lord; who stand by their oath even to their hurt;
But the king shall rejoice in God; all who swear by him shall exult, for the mouths of liars will be stopped.
“You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.
You shall serve the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone forth in righteousness a word that shall not return: “To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”
Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel and who came forth from the loins of Judah, who swear by the name of the Lord and invoke the God of Israel but not in truth or right.
