you shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you. You shall not worship other gods,


Such are the paths of all who forget God; the hope of the godless shall perish.


Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits—


All this has come upon us, yet we have not forgotten you or been false to your covenant.


Do not kill them, or my people may forget; make them totter by your power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.

Say therefore to the Israelites: I am the Lord, and I will free you from the burdens of the Egyptians and deliver you from slavery to them. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.


lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?” or I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God.


For you have forgotten God your Savior and have not remembered the Rock of your refuge; therefore, though you plant pleasant gardens and set out branches of a foreign god,


You have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction. But where is the fury of the oppressor?


Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: I myself made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, saying,


I will punish her for the festival days of the Baals, to whom she offered incense and decked herself with her rings and jewelry and went after her lovers and forgot me, says the Lord.


You have the fringe so that, when you see it, you will remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them and not follow the lust of your own heart and your own eyes.


You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.


So be careful, lest you forget the covenant that the Lord your God made with you and make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything that the Lord your God has forbidden you.


“But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children—


You shall eat your fill and bless the Lord your God for the good land that he has given you.


Watch out that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental principles of the world, and not according to Christ.


and they abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt; they followed other gods, from among the gods of the peoples who were all around them, and bowed down to them, and they provoked the Lord to anger.
