Therefore, my beloved, flee from the worship of idols.


The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?


Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head unveiled?


Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking; rather, be infants in evil, but in thinking be adults.


We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are sensible people in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are dishonored.


I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one person wise enough to decide between brothers and sisters?


Now concerning food sacrificed to idols: we know that “all of us possess knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.


but test everything; hold fast to what is good;
