When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand, then the evil [one] comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the [seed] being sown beside the road.
And coming into His hometown, He began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and the powerful works?
And coming out, Jesus saw a large crowd, and He was moved with compassion towards them, and healed their sick.
And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Now after John was imprisoned, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news about Him went out through all the surrounding region.
Now it happened on a certain day that He was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there[,] who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was [present] to heal them.
And having come down with them, He stood on a level place, with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,
Now it happened that on another Sabbath, He entered the synagogue and was teaching. And there was a man there whose right hand was withered.
And in that very hour He healed many from diseases, and torments, and evil spirits; and to many blind [people] He granted sight.
Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: that the blind regain sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor are evangelized.
Now it came to pass afterward, that He was traveling through every city and village, preaching and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, and the twelve were with Him,
But when the crowds found out, they followed Him; and He welcomed them, and was speaking to them about the kingdom of God, and He cured those who needed healing.
Jesus said to him, "Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always come together, and in secret I spoke nothing.
And after these things Jesus was walking in Galilee; for He did not wish to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.
Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him.
And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.
And now behold, now I know that you all, among whom I have passed through preaching the kingdom of God, will no longer see my face.
