4 But the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and his strength, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?
2 Go ye to my place in Silo, where my name dwelt from the beginning: and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel:
1 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin: altars are become to him unto sin.
And I will make her that halted, a remnant: and her that hath been afflicted, a mighty nation: and the Lord will reign over them in mount Sion, from this time now and for ever.
9 But after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reckoned with them.

Exhort servants to be obedient to their masters, in all things pleasing, not gainsaying:
3 I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him, who is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
