0 Extend thy mercy to them that know thee, and thy justice to them that are right in heart.


Heth. Their face is now made blacker than coals, and they are not known in the streets: their skin hath stuck to their bones, it is withered, and is become like wood.


We were dragged by the necks, we were weary and no rest was given us.


0 But even though they shall have hired the nations, now will I gather them together: and they shall rest a while from the burden of the king, and the princes.


2 I shall write to him my manifold laws, which have been accounted as foreign.


1 Therefore I also will walk them, and bring them into their enemies' land until their uncircumcised mind be ashamed: then shall they pray for their sins.


Thus saith the Lord: For three crimes of Juda, and for four I will not convert him: because he hath cast away the law of the Lord, and hath not kept his commandments: for their idols have caused them to err, after which their fathers have walked.


0 Mayst thou take a wife, and another sleep with her. Mayst thou build a house, and not dwell therein. Mayest thou plant a vineyard and not gather the vintage thereof.


1 I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side.
