4 And when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians saw the woman that she was very beautiful.
And he said of Sara his wife: She is my sister. So Abimelech the king of Oerara sent, and took her.
Did not he say to me : She is my sister: and she say, He is my brother? in the simplicity of my heart, and cleanness of my hands have I done this.
And when he was asked by the men of that place, concerning his wife, he answered: She is my sister; for he was afraid to confess that she was his wife, thinking lest perhaps they would like him because of her beauty.
